The issue is one of support, not documentation. For political reasons (mostly timing) the Yamaha wasn't included in the V3.2 SPD even though the exact same code is in V3.3. I'm the engineering project leader and I'm the one that made the suggestion to buy the Yamaha. V3.3 is available from the SSB now. V3.3 also supports the Philips CDD522. > >The Yamaha drive is supposed to be able to write most if not all the CD formats >out there. We have only been able to test the VMS format. InfoServer only does single-track data CDs at this time. The file format (ODS-2, Apple HFS, ISO-9660) is simply a function of what the client can produce on the staging disk. --Doug -- Doug Gordon gordon@waylay.enet.dec.com InfoServer Software Engineering Anything resembling an opinion Digital Equipment Corporation is mine and not Digital's. **************** Outside of a dog, a book is man's best friend.
