NAME
     finit - initialize an RX02 floppy

SYNOPSIS
     finit drive density

DESCRIPTION
     F_i_n_i_t_ is used to initialize an RX02 floppy diskette.  This
     formatting must be done to make a brand-new diskette usable,
     or to change the density of a used diskette.  It also erases
     all data previously on the floppy.

     F_i_n_i_t_ always demands two arguments: d_r_i_v_e_ is the drive
     number (0 or 1), d_e_n_s_i_t_y_ is h for double density or l for
     single density.

     Formatting cannot be interrupted once started.  It takes
     around 15 seconds.

EXAMPLE
     To init the floppy on drive 0 as double density:

     finit 0 h
